Many different annual seeds can be sown before the last spring frost, usually mid-May. Check seed packet for planting depth and sun location. They include — alyssum, bachelor button, dianthus, bee balm, bells of Ireland, bunny tail grass, calendula, cleome, love-in-a-midst, lupine, poppy, snapdragon, sweet pea and viola.
