Designers, volunteers gave their time so kids in need could call CASA a second home

This is the living room in the CASA house on July 27, 2017 in Denver. The American Society of Interior Designers, or ASID, contributed time, money, expertise and donations to re-do a big, old house at 960 Clarkson street. The church next door semi-donated the house for use by CASA—Court Appointed Special Advocates– to give the children and their advocates a nice place to meet. The newly designed space makes the time spent between the advocates and the children they see more comfortable and enjoyable. There is a room to do homework with donated computers, an art room for painting, drawing and creating. A comfortable living room and dining room make the place feel like a home.
