As fall and winter roll in and a familiar chill settles in the air, you may notice the patios are closing, the fireplaces are coming to life, and you have a certain craving for a hot bowl of something that will warm you to the core. Here are a few places to find ramen and/or pho in Westminster and Arvada, because there’s nothing like a steaming bowl of noodles to melt the cold away.
Faifo Pho & Grill

The scoop: At only a month old, Faifo is Westminster’s newest Vietnamese restaurant, offering authentic noodle bowls and other cultural dishes. The menu also includes a variety of unique Vietnamese delicacies, including cultural renditions of fried sweet potatoes, crepes, beef stew, thai teas and, of course, a wide range of pho options.
Saigon Pho Grill

The scoop: While online reviews across Facebook, Yelp and Pho.com sing the praises of Saigon’s pho bowls, many patrons say the Chinese meal options are just as delicious. There is something to be said, especially, about the restaurant’s array of boba teas.
Pho Dong Huong

The scoop: Despite the name, Pho Dong Huong actually boasts a specialty in Chinese dishes. That’s not to say their pho isn’t worth the trip, however. Pho Dong Huong also offers delivery, online ordering, lunch specials and a children’s menu. The restaurant takes a “modern interpretation of classic dishes.”
Sakana Sushi & Ramen

The scoop: Located in the heart of Westminster, Sakana specializes in authentic Japanese cuisine, featuring ramen and sushi dishes. It is a family-owned restaurant that offers a weekly specials menu.
Kokoro Ramen

The scoop: At Kokoro (which is loosely Japanese for “heart”), patrons can use the drive-thru, dine in or call ahead for pick up. Kokoro is considered “quick, delicious and healthy Japanese food.” The restaurant’s original location is in Denver and opened in 1986. Kokoro offers seafood, sushi and ramen.
303 Ramen

The scoop: Known as Thai Chili until about 3 weeks ago, the owners recently changed their menu and name with a goal of simplifying the menu. 303 Ramen primarily focuses on ramen dishes but kept a few of the customer favorites from the old menu.
