Instead of hitting the snooze button on Wednesday to face the midweek drag, hit the new Snooze DTC instead for a midweek pancake pick-me-up.
Snooze DTC, the mega-popular brunch spot that gathers hours-long lines on the weekends throughout the city, will open on May 2 to provide some relief to south metro diners looking for a hollandaise holiday.
One of the coolest things about the location, according to assistant general manager Erica Stewart, is that this is the chain’s first detached restaurant. All the others — like Union Station, University, and Ballpark in Denver — are attached to other buildings.
So to take advantage, there are windows — a lot of them — in the 221-person capacity spot. There is also a patio — because it is Denver, after all.
For the opening, the seasonal menu includes more Benedict than you could ever wish for — aside from Cumberbatch, of course — gooey pancakes, a low-cal menu and barista-made beauties to keep you caffeinated.
Snooze: 5073 S. Syracuse St., Denver; snoozeeatery.com; 6:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. daily.
