PHOTOS: Riders rip rails at Ruby Hill

Hit the powder without leaving the city. The Ruby Hill Rail Yard opened for its 12th season on Jan. 10, offering urban skiers and snowboarders an acre of man-made snow in Denver with more than a dozen boxes and rails to ride — for free.

But do it now. The Rail Yard is set to close up by the end of February as temperatures rise, so grab your gear and go. For details about what’ll you find there, visit dpo.st/2Ec06km.

The terrain park is made possible through a collaboration between Winter Park Resort and Denver Parks and Recreation.
