Denver was just ranked the fourth-best city for singles in a study

Source: WalletHub

In a new study out by WalletHub, Denver has been ranked the fourth best city in the U.S. for singles, out of the 180 compared.

Two other Colorado cities were also ranked: Colorado Springs at 39 and Aurora at 111.

The incredibly scientific study took into consideration 32 “key indicators,” from number of online dating opportunities to the nightlife scene. (Shout out to New Haven, Conn., my home state, for the highest restaurant meal costs.)

Here is where the Denver dating scene ranked in some of the categories, with 1 being the best and 91 being the average. The lowest rank was in crime rate at 88th, so maybe keep the mace handy during those romantic strolls.

Share of Singles: 62
Online Dating Opportunities: 50
Mobile Dating Opportunities: 25
Restaurants per Capita: 23
Nightlife Options per Capita: 13
Crime Rate: 88

So get out there, Denver singles.

Here is our guide to some pretty cool date night ideas around the city in case you need some help.

The three cities that beat Denver were Los Angeles at No. 3, Atlanta as runner-up and San Francisco at No. 1. You can find the full list and the point breakdown here.
