PHOTOS: Community thanks firefighters for saving their ghost town with mountain shindig

The historic ghost town of Uptop almost lost to the flames of the Spring Creek fire this summer, but a valiant effort by firefighters saved the ghost town near Old La Veta Pass. Sisters Sam Law and Deb Lathrop, owners of the historic ghost town, wanted to share a big thank-you with the firefighters. They invited the firefighters and their community, booked a live band and celebrated.
