Yes, the 415-square-mile slice of wilderness had a dip in visitors in 2017. But according to CNN, out of the 59 marquee National Parks, Rocky Mountain National Park still had enough to rank it the fourth-most visited in 2017.
Rocky Mountain National Park was beat out by Great Smoky Mountains National Park (11.3 million visitors); Grand Canyon National Park (6.2 million); and Zion National Park (4.5 million visitors).
Rocky Mountain National Park had a total of 4,437,215 visits in 2017.
