It’s a Miracle: Denver’s insanely popular Christmas pop-up bar is coming back

It’s baaaack.

Miracle, the New York City-based Christmas-themed pop-up bar, is coming back to Denver this year, taking over Avanti Food & Beverage’s upper deck bar.

Last year, Miracle on Little Raven opened in the old Wayward spot and it was, to put it mildly, very popular. Most nights if you weren’t there at opening, you weren’t getting in.

So it makes sense that Chad Michael George, who owned the Colorado rights to the Miracle bar franchise last year, wanted to bring back the Christmas spirit (and spirits – snap!) in the form of Miracle at Avanti Wolf Bar.

Miracle, which started out as a single bar in NYC in 2014, will have more than 80 pop-ups operating this year. It’s so nice to know that in a world where values like kindness and common sense seem to be on the decline, at least the very most important things, like Christmas bars, are on the rise.

Didn’t make it in to Miracle’s inaugural Denver year in 2017? Here’s what to expect: Festive décor, holiday treats, non-stop Christmas entertainment and cocktails like the Snowball Old Fashioned (gingerbread bourbon, wormwood bitters, lemon zest) and Run Run Rudolph (tequila, coffee liqueur, iced hot chocolate, Mexican spices).

Miracle at Avanti Wolf Bar will open Thursday, Nov. 22, and run through New Year’s Eve from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. daily. miraclepopup.com.
