Bill Murray will perform with a classical trio in Denver this fall

This summer, Bill Murray blessed downtown Denver (and a nearby golf course) with his presence during a college reunion.

This fall, Murray returns to the Mile High City, albeit in a less familiar capacity.

On Dec. 10, the actor will bring “Bill Murray, Jan Vogler & Friends: New Worlds,” a mash-up concert/literary event to Denver’s Bellco Theatre. Murray will be joined by Vogler — a cellist — violinist Mira Wang and pianist Vanessa Perez for the evening.

Tickets are $45-$125 and go on sale Sept. 22 at 10 a.m. MST on axs.com and livenation.com.

The show announcement comes ahead of the release of Murray’s debut album, “New Worlds.” Out Sept. 29, the record combines performances of classical works by George Girshwin and Johann Sebastian Bach among others with readings from authors like Mark Twain and Ernest Hemingway. Find out more about the release here.

Murray’s “New Worlds” tour will kick off in earnest in October. See the full list of tour dates here.
